Scientific conferences “Research, Utilization and Protection of Caves” are organized by the Slovak Caves Administration biannually since 1997. The newest results from research, monitoring and protection of caves are presented, mainly from Slovakia and neighbouring countries in Central Europe. The caves as natural monuments are protected from geological, mineralogical, geomorphological, hydrological, climatological, biological, paleontological, archaeological or historical point of views.
